Two Year Limited Warranty
(One Year Commercial Use)

If during two years from date of purchase, any properly installed Ray electric outboard fails during normal operation due to defects in material or workmanship, applicable components will be repaired or replaced upon return to an authorized dealer. Transportation or shipping to and from dealer will be borne by owner. If there is no dealer available, contact Ray Electric Outboards for instructions.

For work required by the manufacturer, prior authorization will be obtained before part(s) are shipped to Ray Electric Outboards, Inc. In this case, owner is responsible for shipping costs to Ray Electric Outboards, Inc. and Ray Electric Outboards, Inc. is responsible for return shipping costs via ground freight in the U.S. All required overseas transportation will be borne by owner.

Inclusions and exceptions:

• All components manufactured and assembled by Ray Electric Outboards, Inc. are included in warranty except shear pin and cotter pins. Improper operation, accidents, mistreatment, and natural disasters are not covered.
• Propeller: Bending or breaking of the propeller during normal operation due to striking the bottom or underwater obstruction while underway is covered. Nicks and normal wear are not covered. Damage caused by backing into any object or structure clearly visible above the water, such as, but not limited to pilings, docks, seawalls and boat ramps is not covered.
• Warranty for products and components of another manufacturer is limited to manufacturer’s warranty and Ray Electric Outboards, Inc. will not be held liable for any defects.
• This warranty is applicable to original owner only.
• This warranty is applicable to motors used for commercial purposes for one year.
